Ligcabho Le'Africa Residences was established in 2017 to meet the growing need for student accommodation in the city of Mbombela.

Ligcabho Student Accommodation prides itself on offering both lifestyle and stay, providing accommodation for male and female students studying around Mbombela city. We accept NSFAS funded students, bursary holders and cash paying students.
Ligcabho was established in 2017 to meet the growing need for student accommodation in the city of Mbombela. We aim to offer students a safe, convenient and affordable place to live that meets all of a student's needs while developing students and shaping their greater minds. We are not just for stay — we have more ways to keep students entertained, with plenty of activities to help students relax and live better.

A team behind every house
Manager
Responsible for the full operation of the building, and reports to the board.
Admin and house warden
Keep the building maintained, clean, safe and secure, and are the first point of contact for students.
Maintenance
Service providers on call for all maintenance issues, with published turnaround times.
Cleaners
In once a day for common areas, bathrooms and kitchens.
Security
A security service provider with personnel in place to attend to all security matters.
Student house committee
Two elected student representatives per residence, reporting to the house warden.
